“First Friday” - Downtown Art Galleries Open House - On each first Friday of the Month, downtown art galleries are open until 9 pm with demonstrations and featured artists displaying their creations. Within a couple of months, hatchlings race for the sea. Watching these protected species from a distance is fine, however do not approach or shine lights at nesting females. Also do not pick up turtles or disturb markers or screens over nesting areas. Donít walk in sensitive dune areas, report injured turtles to County or City Beach Services and please keep the beaches clean!

Monday, July 4	Independence Day - Huge celebrations throughout the area with lots of fireworks including bursts over Matanzas Bay in St. Augustine and fireworks at the World Golf Hall of Fame. The crowds will be in the region for the Pepsi 400 on Saturday Night!

October 8 & 9	17th Annual St. Augustine Colonial Folk Arts & Crafts Festival - An Arts and Crafts sale along with demonstrations of ìlostî colonial arts and craftsmanship such as blacksmithing, spinning and weaving. Colonial Spanish music and entertainments rounds out the activities in the downtown Plaza.
Monday, October 10	Columbus Day - Time to getaway for a relaxing three day weekend in St. Augustine. Great time of year for golf, shopping, beach combing and sightseeing.
October 20 - 23	"Biketoberfest" - This four day event is the last fling before cool weather sets in for motorcycle enthusiasts from all over to grab one last ride. Lots of parties, motorcycle promotions, races and live entertainment including the mega Buffalo Chip event a few miles south at Daytona Speedway.
